History of Cadbury:

The company was founded by John Cadbury in 1824 in Birmingham and headquartered in Uxbridge, London, England. John used to sell tea, coffee and chocolates in Birmingham. Later, he along with his brother, Benjamin developed a business which was followed by his sons Richard and George. The company introduced the Dairy Milk chocolate in 1905 and by 1914, it became the highest-selling product of the company.
Cadbury entered the Indian market in 1948 and currently has multiple production units installed in Thane, Pune, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Baddi and its head office is situated in Mumbai. Currently, Cadbury is the second-largest confectionery brand in the world after Mars and generated net revenue of $3 billion in 2016.

The first logo was developed by William Cadbury in 1905, it was a cocoa tree image interwoven with the company’s name.
